When did you join Natural Power?  

I joined Natural Power in August 2023 

  What does your day typically consist of?   

What I love about my job is that each day looks different. One day, I could be travelling to conferences to speak as a subject matter expert. Other days I meet with clients to learn about a challenge they have and figure out how Natural Power can help. Some days I am talking to regulators about smart curtailment and how wind farms and bats can co-exist harmoniously.   

What is the most challenging part of your role?   

Sometimes the siloed nature of organizations or agencies can be a barrier to providing timely solutions. I get frustrated when I run into obstacles that slow down efficient problem solving.  

  What is the most interesting type of work you have done and why?   

All my work is interesting, I am motivated by interest so if it’s not interesting you won’t find me doing it for long. I like solving problems and helping people, and there many ways to do that in the energy transition.  

Provide a hidden talent or quirky fact about yourself!?   

 I love to dance, hike, and garden. Being a mom to my 17 year old son is my greatest privilege and passion. And my greatest headache from time to time.
